Our guest this week is changing our minds on the potential of hybrid vehicles for overlanding! Jimmy @black.jmyntrn, aka The Black Jimmy Neutron dropped by the studio to share with us some of his adventures. Initially when you hear "Prius", you don't think "offroad overland vehicle". But Jimmy has proven that wrong! Not only has he taken his modified 2013 Prius Plug-In offroad and camping, he's taken it to 49 states, including up through Canada into Alaska! He's even been south into Baja, with plans to head further into South America and eventually a European tour. He also offers support for others in the Prius Overland community with his website black.jmyntrn.com. We talk about how he discovered his love for overlanding and exploration, future plans and even the best spot to buy fireworks!

This week we're hanging out with Cody @xpeditionamerica. He's a fellow Land Rover addict who's still in denial. From his Disco 2, to an LR4 and now his 2008 Range Rover Sport traveling all over exploring the country. He also runs Xpedition Academy for anyone wanting to learn or dial in their offroading or recovery skills. He teaches classes from his years of experience and really enjoys helping others experience the outdoors. He's even lead large Sprinter van groups.

Tom is a firearms instructor with Skillset Defense and enjoys teaching others safe practices, how to handle and be proficient with firearms and tactics. He's also a lover of the outdoors and has had some nice vehicles to get him out there including a brand new 2023 Sequoia! We talk about the joys of trying to purchase vehicles, firearms, cameras, and even cooking shows.
